Note regarding on line registrations: Please note you are not fully registered until you receive a receipt from Danvers Recreation's RecTrac Program by mail or email confirming your registration into the program you selected. Until you receive the Danvers Recreation receipt, you are not registered. Credit Cards and registrations can only be completed during our business hours, and therefore off hours registrations will be completed in a timely manner. NEW! There is a new sport in town! Volleyball will be introduced as a Danvers High School sport next year, be a part of it! St. John’s Prep and Essex Aggie/North shore Tech already have teams. Get a head start on the game by coming to Danvers Recreation’s Volleyball Clinic on Tuesday nights at the Holten Richmond Gym! NEW! Now is YOUR time to train for a 5K, the slow, easy way. The Couch to 5K Plan is designed to bring the non-runner to a 5K! Danvers Recreation has trained over 400 people to run a 5K! Star Wars Builders - Travel to a galaxy far, far away to build a classic LEGO model from the original Star Wars Trilogy Edition. Adult Yoga with Kate! The current session of Yoga with Kate is running from November 16th until December 7th! As a Holiday gift to Kate’s participants, she will offer a free class on December 14th! Danvers Harbormaster
The Danvers Waterfront is alive with seasonal excitement! Nearly 1,100 boaters have claimed Danvers their homeport. Made up of four rivers; the Danvers River, the Waters River, the Crane River and the Porter River; Danvers provides boaters with a sheltered harbor with less than a 30 minute ride to the ocean. Need A Town Field Permit?
All baseball and softball diamonds as well as most "flat green space" on town property do require a permit. Please fill out the field permit request and mail it to Danvers Recreation at Danvers Town Hall 1 Sylvan St. Danvers, MA 01923 or fax it to Danvers Recreation at 978-762-0215. This must be read and signed by all applicants for Town of Danvers Fields and related facilites.
