WHAT
IS ENDICOTT PARK?
A 165-acre public recreation area sited on the grounds of the former Endicott
Estate which was a working dairy farm up until 1950. The park is dedicated
to passive recreation, education, and historical preservation.
WHAT
CAN WE DO (DO YOU HAVE) THERE?
We have ponds for fishing and wildlife watching, trails for exercise and nature
study, fields for games and cloud study, picnic areas for large and small groups,
a fenced playscape, a barnyard with animals to look at, a visitor center with
handicap accessible rest rooms and space for meetings, historical buildings,
beautiful gardens, sliding hills and acres and acres of OPEN space for walking,
thinking, laughing, jogging, whistling, relaxing and more. See the facilities

WHO
GOES THERE?
The park visitor base ranges from local to national. Although it is family
oriented, no one is excluded from using the park for any lawful purposes. Many
of the park facilities are Handicap accessible, including the playground and
rest rooms and each area has designated parking.
WHO
WORKS THERE?
The park is staffed on a year round basis by the Park Director and three Park
Rangers. They provide for all care and maintenance of the park facilities as
well as insuring the safety of park visitors. Each of the staff is available
for assistance and interpretation of the many park amenities.
WHO
OWNS IT?
The park was purchased with matching state, federal and local funds and is
owned and operated by the Town of Danvers under the Department of Health and
Human Services, Recreation Department.
WHEN
ARE WE OPEN?
The park is open 365 days per year from 9 am to dusk (one half hour after sunset).
Town bylaws prohibit unauthorized use of any town properties after dark.
