Note regarding on line registrations: Please note you are not fully registered until you receive a receipt from Danvers Recreation's RecTrac Program by mail or email confirming your registration into the program you selected. Until you receive the Danvers Recreation receipt, you are not registered. Credit Cards and registrations can only be completed during our business hours, and therefore off hours registrations will be completed in a timely manner. Thank you for your continued business!

NEW! - Preschool Programs at Endicott Park! Another great session of Playing Pals and Seasonal Sports is about to begin at Endicott Park. This five- week session will be filled with music, games and much more....At 5 weeks for only $45 you won't find a better program for your preschooler! NEW! - Spring 2010 Youth Rugby Program! The North Shore Rugby Club in conjunction with Danvers Recreation is running a tag rugby program for children ages 5 – 12 in Danvers. This program is building on a very successful first year. Click here for more information. Click here to register.


NEW! -Women’s Over 30 Soccer ! Back by popular demand, this program is running from April 17th – June 19th. (No games on 5/29) There will be teams formulated by the League Coordinator. Each team will have 10-12 players on the roster. First game will start at 5:00 p.m and the second game will start at 6:05 p.m. Fee is $45 per player. Sign up early as space is limited. NEW! - Session 3 of Youth Volleyball! Session 3 of the 2009-2010 Volleyball Season will begin on March 2, 2010. The Youth Volleyball program will be held on Tuesday night from 6:00-7:30pm at HRMS. This program is for grades 3-9. Click here for more information, click here to register.

NEW! - Couch to 5K! Back by popular demand, the Couch to 5K program turns couch potatoes into runners in just 9 weeks! This great program will help you gradually ease into a running routine at your own pace, while helping you get in shape. NEW - Babysitters Course! Instructor Debbie LaFlamme is back again with another great babysitters course. This one-day class will help your teen become a more responsible, trustworthy babysitter. New Session of Little Hoopsters! Little Hoopsters is back again for another great session. This recreational basketball program will introduce boys and girls to the game of basketball with age appropraite activities. New Session of Adult Fitness! Certified Personal Trainer and Boot Camp Instructor Kelly Pszenny is back again for another great session of Adult Fitness. This program is a great way to get in shape while having fun. The next session will begin on March 2nd and continue for 6 weeks. New Session of Get Fit with Kelly! Kelly Pszenny is back another for great session of Get Fit! This program is the perfect way to develop and improve your cardiovascular health. March Madness Basketball for 5th Grade Girls! This intramural program will introduce 5th grade girls to the fundamentals of basketball. Practice will be held on 1/27 from 2:45-3:30pm. Games will be held on Wednesdays from 3:30pm-4:00pm beginning on 2/3 and continuing until 3/10. The cost for this great program is only $5. Please refer to the updated flyer for changes. Adult Yoga with Kate! The 2010 adult yoga schedule is now available. The first session of the year will begin on January 6th and continue until February 3rd. As always, this great program will be held on Wednesday nights from 5:30pm-6:30pm at the Carriage House at Endicott Park. Cost: $50. Wrestling - If there are more than two wrestlers in any weight class they will "wrestle off" to earn their spot in the dual meet. Wrestle offs will take place at practice the week before. As many Danvers wrestlers as possible should try to attend the dual meets to support the team, whether they are competing or not.

On Monday, December 14, Kim Almon will begin taking names for the Tyngsborough (Grades 5 - 8) and Tewksbury (Grades K - 4) tournaments. * The $15 tournament fee can be paid on site the morning of the tournament. See age groupings below.

TWO (2) AGE DIVISIONS:
GROUP 1: Born before January 1, 2000 and on or after January 1, 1998.
GROUP 2: Born before January 1, 1998 and after January 1, 1995. No 9th graders and no 1994 or earlier birthdays

GROUP II Grades 3-4

Practices - Once again, in fairness to the wrestlers, please do NOT send your wrestler to practice if he/she is sick. There is a stomach bug going around and we need to keep everyone healthy. Please click here to see when the meets are.

The Danvers Waterfront is alive with seasonal excitement! Nearly 1,100 boaters have claimed Danvers their homeport. Made up of four rivers; the Danvers River, the Waters River, the Crane River and the Porter River; Danvers provides boaters with a sheltered harbor with less than a 30 minute ride to the ocean. Endicott Park
Endicott Park is a beautiful one hundred and sixty five acre handicapped accessible park that provides a myriad of recreation and leisure time programs and activities ranging from picnicking and exercising to gardening.

The Danvers Council On Aging
The mission of the Danvers Council on Aging and the Danvers Senior Center which it manages is to provide and advance those programs and services which enrich the lives of older adults in the Danvers community.

Need A Town Field Permit?

All baseball and softball diamonds as well as most "flat green space" on town property do require a permit. Please fill out the field permit request and mail it to Danvers Recreation at Danvers Town Hall 1 Sylvan St. Danvers, MA 01923 or fax it to Danvers Recreation at 978-762-0215.
