Note regarding on line registrations: Please note you are not fully registered until you receive a receipt from Danvers Recreation's RecTrac Program by mail or email confirming your registration into the program you selected. Until you receive the Danvers Recreation receipt, you are not registered. Credit Cards and registrations can only be completed during our business hours, and therefore off hours registrations will be completed in a timely manner. Thank you for your continued business!

Join Certified Personal Trainer and Boot Camp Instructor Kelly Pszenny for another great session of Adult Fitness at the Holten Richmond Middle School on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30pm starting on September 21st. NEW! -Couch to 5K! Couch to 5K! Yes, even you can go from the couch to running 3 miles in just 2 short months! The next session of Couch to 5K begins on Monday, September 20th. The program will be held on Monday and Wednesday nights at 5:30pm at John George Park. Cost: $24!Click here for more information click here to register!!!

NEW! - Preseason Basketball Clinic! Join us for this basketball clinic that will stress the fundamentals of the game and dictate the level of instruction to the individual needs of the student. Students will be placed into smaller groups according to age and ability. This clinic will be held on Monday’s from September 20th through October 18th at the DHS Field House. Boys in grades 3-5 will be from 6-7:30pm and boys in grades 6-9 will be from 7:30-9pm. Cost is $89. Click here for more information click here to register!!!

NEW! - Adult Beginner Tennis! This program is designed for adult tennis players who are just starting out or who have minimal experience with the game and want to improve their skills! Coach Ken Rawson will be holding this great tennis program from September 20th through October 25th on Monday nights from 7-8:30pm at the Plains Park Tennis Courts. NEW! - NFL Flag Football! The NFL Flag Football Program is the perfect way for children to learn the basics of flag football while having fun! This program is open to boys and girls ages 5-14 and will begin on Saturday, October 2nd and continue until November 13th. Flag Football will be held every Saturday from 3pm-5pm at the Plains Park Utility Field in Danvers. Cost is $70 for this 7-week program! NEW! - Fall Gymworks Preschool Programs! Join us for another great season of Gymworks programs! Playing Pals is for walkers to age 2 years old, accompanied by an adult. Come Play Sports and Preschool Soccer are for preschool children, ages 3-5 years old. These preschool programs start on Sept. 13th and Sept. 14th (6-week sessions) and are held on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Please check the flyer for more information click here to register!

NEW! - Fall 2010 Middle School Programs! Join Danvers Recreation and Coach Roger Day for Flag Football and Speed and Quickness! Both of these great fall programs will be open to middle school students and will be held at the Holten Richmond Middle School starting the week of September 20th. Flag Football will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00-2:45pm and Seppd & Quickness will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:00-2:45pm. Wicked! Join Danvers Recreation for a trip to Boston’s Opera House to see Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz! Danvers Recreation will host two trips to see this amazing musical performance. The first will be on Wednesday, September 22 and the second on Thursday, October 7. Danvers Harbormaster Web Site
The Danvers Waterfront is alive with seasonal excitement! Nearly 1,100 boaters have claimed Danvers their homeport. Made up of four rivers; the Danvers River, the Waters River, the Crane River and the Porter River; Danvers provides boaters with a sheltered harbor with less than a 30 minute ride to the ocean. Endicott Park
Endicott Park is a beautiful one hundred and sixty five acre handicapped accessible park that provides a myriad of recreation and leisure time programs and activities ranging from picnicking and exercising to gardening.

The Danvers Council On Aging
The mission of the Danvers Council on Aging and the Danvers Senior Center which it manages is to provide and advance those programs and services which enrich the lives of older adults in the Danvers community.

Need A Town Field Permit?
All baseball and softball diamonds as well as most "flat green space" on town property do require a permit. Please fill out the field permit request and mail it to Danvers Recreation at Danvers Town Hall 1 Sylvan St. Danvers, MA 01923 or fax it to Danvers Recreation at 978-762-0215. This must be read and signed by all applicants for Town of Danvers Fields and related facilites.
